Sometimes all you need is the right link to get you started, which is why we have scoured the internet using our maths antennae to compile a comprehensive list of relevant sites for your perusal.   • BBC Teach has an assortment of maths videos for KS1 and KS2
  • White Rose Maths has a broad range of teaching videos free to view on its home learning pages
  • Mozaik has a selection of maths videos
  • National Oak Academy has a range of lessons for KS1 and KS2. They can be used to supplement your own teaching or are particularly useful if you need your lesson covering by a supply teacher
Ideas for maths visits, workshops and trips
  Online maths book lists
  • Books for topics has a maths section that organises books by theme/topic
  • Jubilee Books has lists of maths story books for KS1
  • Maths Through Stories has a list of recommended books broken down into curriculum content areas
  Maths expertise and networking
  • The Learning Partnership runs a maths subject leader network
  • The NCETM coordinates a series of 40 maths hubs
  • Local authorities (LAs) often run or coordinate maths networks – contact your local LA to find out about any in your area
  • There are two primary subject leader groups for maths on Facebook, this one and this one, where members discuss issues, and provide each other with support. For access, a Facebook account is required. Both are private groups, so you will need to request to join them
